What Tarik needs from you

  • Your KvK number and the date you registered
  • Read access to your business bank account, or a monthly statement export
  • Every sales invoice, including those to clients abroad
  • Costs with the receipt: laptop, software, train tickets, a course
  • Hours, if you want to claim the self-employed deduction (1,225 hours a year)

Clients outside the Netherlands mean reverse charge and sometimes an ICP statement. Tarik sorts that per invoice, you only send the invoice.

Small business scheme (KOR)

If your turnover stays under €20,000 a year, you can stop charging VAT altogether. Useful for tutors and translators with private clients, less so if you buy expensive equipment, because you also lose the VAT back on costs. Tarik works it out with your numbers before you apply, not after.
